Join local meditation teacher Chaz-Mykl Pace-Gormley for an opportunity to sit and return to yourself. BIPOC centered event, open to all. Bring a cushion, pillow, or towel.
Chaz-Mykl is the founder of Pistols and Peace, an organization whose mission is to cultivate a holistic relationship in the community regarding both physical and mental health and wellness.
As a certified firearms instructor he provides education, training and assistance for those interested in becoming more knowledgeable and proficient with firearms as a form of self defense. As a meditation instructor and intuitive sound healing practitioner, he utilizes mindfulness techniques, breath-work and multiple instruments to help create calming and healing environments for those in attendance at sound bath sessions and meditation workshops.
Chaz-Mykl believes that through these two paths he can highlight the yin and yang, interconnectedness, that exists between them. The same breath-work techniques used in sound healing also help create calmness when training with firearms — “through Pistols and Peace we can create balance in our lives, to better equip us in protecting our own peace”.
