ILL '26 is the CU Denver Experience Gallery's annual juried review of illustration and commercial artworks from CU Denver's College of Arts & Media (CAM) students. It welcomes all Visual Arts students to submit works. ILL focuses on illustration and commercial artworks, specifically sculpture, 3D models, concept art, painting, and drawings. This year’s iteration of ILL was juried by Burbank-based artist and illustrator Betsy Bauer.
Artists featured in ILL ’26 include Aidan Brown, Max Charoensri, Errow Collins, Kal Daley, Sage Deal, Jenna Durbin, Katerina Koldabstov, Brandon Olivas, Mia Soto, Anna Vander Linden, and Indigo Vitgenos.
ILL ‘26 is organized by Andrew Palamara, Charles Valsechi, Flynn Zook, Rilee Palmisano, Jenna Durbin, Indie Vitgenos, Syd Jensen, Anna Beltran Garcia, Kal Daley, and Milana Hopkins. .
This exhibition is made possible by the University of Colorado Denver’s College of Arts & Media. The CU Denver Experience Gallery is a collaboration between the university and the Denver Performing Arts Complex.

About the Juror
Betsy Bauer is a visual development artist, art director, character designer, and illustrator based out of Burbank, California. She graduated with honors from the Ringling College of Art and Design's Computer Animation program in 2011, and since then has had the privilege to work with such companies as Disney, Dreamworks, Penguin Books, Paramount, Sony, Nickelodeon, Mattel, and Google, to name a few. She continues to pursue illustration and animation industry work while teaching as a remote full-time faculty member in the illustration department at the College for Creative Studies.
When not creating artwork, she likes to cook elaborate meals, go for long hikes, and get lost in a good book.
